Lekker Home, nationally acclaimed independent retailer and Boston’s largest showroom of modern design furniture and decor, seeks an eCommerce Sales Associate who will be a key member of the eCommerce team. The eCommerce Sales Associate will be working with distinguished residential customers, renowned interior designers and architectural firms located across the country. This position is based out of our 10,000 square foot showroom in Boston.

Responsibilities:

• Online sales of home décor products including upholstery, furniture, tabletop, bedding, lighting, textiles and accessories to residential, interior design and architectural clients.
• Learning and being able to communicate an extensive design portfolio.
• Communicating with customers in a positive, efficient and effective manner via phone, email and online chat.
• Working closely with the buying team to provide clients with accurate order and delivery updates.
• Managing and resolving customer claims while keeping an accurate and detailed record of resolutions, returns, and credits.
• Participation in weekly sales meetings and brand trainings.
• Responsible for processing, packing, and shipping web orders.

Requirements:

• Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize work, and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong MAC operating systems skills.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong verbal and written English skills.
• Must pass all security and background checks.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of professional work experience, preferably in customer service, furniture sales or luxury environment.

Not required but we'd love to hear about it if you possess the following:

• Experience with selling custom furniture or made to order items.
• Familiarity with Acumatica ERP, Magento 2 eCommerce and/or Chatra.
• We have a soft spot for Dutch but any additional languages to English are always of interest.
